6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

In improv, you use your mind and your body, you collaborate, and you take risks. We’ll begin with simple exercises and build up to complex improv games. You’ll leave with ready-to-use improv exercises for any occasion, in-person or remote.

Elissa Levy is a high school physics and computer science teacher at Life Sciences Secondary School. Armed with a Yale physics degree, her first career was in finance, where Elissa managed large-scale projects for hedge funds for eight years. She pivoted into teaching in 2017. Elissa attends and facilitates workshops, teaches after-school and summer programs, and publishes articles on Medium. She believes we all learn best when surrounded by support and joy, and she considers it the greatest praise when a student says they’re proud of themselves.
